    Experience Wall Rope Yoga

I highly recommend their Wall Rope Yoga class for people who would like to strech their bodies. In the non-rope yoga classes, if you can’t do the poses properly, you may end up not stretching the right muscle, but the use of wall rope allows you isolate each muscle and strech it. There is no need for you to sustain the pose by flexing the core muscle, and it is easier to adjust the pressure for stretching. The pricing is reasonable as the class is small. You may want to try their first -timer promotion and see for yourself.

This is the place to be if you’re an executive. “Why, Ms. T! Whatever do you mean?” Well, laddy, if you work at a desk and afraid to walk into a yoga studio, come here! Masters’ Sandam focuses on helping office workers: so think, shoulder aches, lower back problems, tight hamstrings, and sore buttocks. The best part? You have ropes to guide you so you don’t end up hurting yourself. Plus, Master Shree is always there to help, to ensure that your spine is aligned, and to make sure that you’re stretching–but not stretching too much. Once you start to make faces and/or noises, he’ll remind you to relax and that this exercise is called ‘yoga,’ not ‘face yoga’ or ‘sound yoga.’ Plus, he’s always smiley and happy–reminds me of the happy Buddha, just skinnier and Indian.

Masters’ Sandam’s has a few different classes, but I particularly like their Wall-rope Yoga. Healthy Hip and Healthy Back are also good because they focus on body parts most prone to injury or stress. Executive Yoga is a good for those just starting yoga. The best part about this studio is that there aren’t many students and the teachers make sure to align each and every student. Master always asks, “Anyone needs my help? Call me over if you do!” Personally, I like it when an instructor comes to help me stretch a bit deeper and correct my posture. Most studios don’t do this anymore bc they’re afraid of being sued, but how else are we going to learn?! Just don’t be crazy and break my hip! As someone who’s been practicing yoga for 3 years, the ropes really do make a difference and I immediately felt a difference when I stretch with and without the ropes. Plus, the instructors don’t push you to the extent that your hamstrings break. Master’s motto is, “Tomorrow never dies…we try again tomorrow.”

As for the negative parts, they don’t offer classes every single hour (5 classes on the weekdays, 3-4 classes on the weekends) and there are no mirrors! Plus, no water and towels so bring your own. They do provide mats though.

    1. This is a HAPPY studio with a HAPPY instructor, a big plus in my book and something you don’t really see nowadays I feel.

    2. Classes are designed for office executives, who are not naturally flexible. Regular yoga practitioners will find their flexibility improving.

    3. Instructors help and continuously offer to help

I wouldn’t say this place is my go-to studio (I only go about once a week). It’s more for fun than anything else! Alrighty, laddy–see you there!

My foray into practicing yoga started from master Shree and I got hooked onto practicing yoga ever since. His observation and jovial character makes every session interesting and un-intimidating especially for beginners. The small class means he can provide attention and correct your posture more frequently, and his knowledge on different asanas like how to target which muscles to flex further and benefits of each pose. This studio incorporates wall rope yoga to bring your stretch to the next level and I believe that there are few studios that offers this. I highly recommend Masters Yoga Sadhan to both experienced and beginner yoga practitioners.
