    My new favorite salon !!!

The very first time I went to Kizuki + Lim was for a haircut and treatment. I had only wanted to check the place out and try something new, so I was a bit nervous because I am very particular about my hair (how it looks, how its cut) The stylist I got was Shun-san . He was very accommodating and pleasant to speak with . His english is quite fluent as well so it made things easy ^_^ . I was pleased with the outcome and decided to “marry” the salon .
The second time I went was for a color cut and full treatment for my birthday and obviously, I stuck with Shun-san because I wanted the same cut as before .
I had my hair washed and he cut it the same way as he did before because it was so easy to style in the morninggg after that cut !!! It usually takes me 20 mins to do my hair but now it only takes less than half of that time . He was really busy that day so he had to other stylist to help with coloring my hair, Rei-san and Satomi-san . Both were a DELIGHT !! I could speak a little japanese so it made things easier for us that way I guess . Anyways, my hair was a mess before because it was bleached several times and the color was very, very uneven but thanks to them … My hair color has FINALLY EVENED OUT !! Even my friends were amazed at the job the had done ! They said it looked healthier and more one tone as compared to the mess I had . After that , I had the full treatment done on my hair and a wonderful head massage+shampoo done by Rei-san .
Super pleased with Kizuki + Lim and I will recommend anyone who is in need of a good haircut, color and anything else ! As for the price , it is a little pricey but for those who are willing to go the distance for their hair … (or are just very very particular about their hair, like me xD) I’d definitely stick with Kizuki + Lim !

I walked out feeling happier than most other salons I’ve been to, and with great hair that has lasted. I enjoyed myself so much that I just gotta write about it!

Super cool architecture! Different areas of the salon were separated by these geometric shaped “walls”/ pathways. Their washing area with super comfortable automated reclining seats. It’s really great for me as due to my short stature, I usually end up shuffling myself awkwardly on those flat chairs for my head to reach the sink. With the chairs, I no longer need to look like a earthworm on drugs and am able to maintain my dignity. My hair has remained rather low maintenance and looks good styled or not and even looks decent if I go to bed with my hair still wet from my shower. People have been complimenting my haircut and even the Bf says it looks good, which is rare since he hardly mentions much bout my hairstyles. Will definitely return.

Industrial chic. Coming here is like getting a haircut in a modern art museum. You got to go to know what i mean. I TOTALLY LOVE!

LIM stands for Less Is More, not the Chinese last name. And it is a salon chain from Japan.

Service is impeccably Japanese, ultra-polite. The clientele is mostly Japanese and I could barely understand my Japanese stylist’s smattering of English. But I am happy to say that I love my new cut! Fuss-free and refreshing!

I’m excited to share about an experience I had at Kizuki+Lim! It was really nice, the feeling of being pampered by hair stylist, and japanese at that! ♥
To be honest, i actually preferred dyeing but seeing as how the japanese girl who approached us needed to find hair models, I agreed. Plus, I was actually getting irritated by my hair now because it grew out which means it didn’t suit the original cut I had.
I really liked the overall look they tried to achieve; they kept saying kawaii which I presumed meant giving me a cut that is kawaii style. And, tada! ♥
I had no idea my cut would be high maintenance sigh. So much trouble >:
    But it’s pretty so..
Satomi-san, my hairstylist, could do perming for me next time! But i’ll only perm after my hair grows back long lol.
I ended up camwhoring after i got home although most of the spray and curling disappeared. My hair doesn’t stay in shape easily so i need lots of hairspray ugh.
I wouldn’t mind coming back to do my hair next time, since the service and ambience there is pretty awesome.

I’d went back to KIZUKI hair salon to get my hair a lighter colour. My hair stylist was Waka. In the midst of colouring. I dyed light brown and Waka said have to dye two times. .0/ So no choice have to dye two times. My head started to feel really itchy during the first dye when he applies to my scalp. Have to tolerate the itchiness for the beauty of my hair~ He helped me curled my hair for free~

I looked like Japanese now right. The curls are so Japanese-like. Hope it looks more to ask brown after the wash cause I initially wanted ash brown, which i told him. Maybe my hair didn’t eat in the colour. =\

How many of you agreed that having a good hair-stylist is important? For me i totally agreed, i have always been going to different hair saloon, to get my hair cut, coloured and washed. But i couldn’t find one that can satisfied me . Last few days i went on the Internet looking for a good saloon which i can try, ( i wanna cut my hair) chanced upon KIZUKI+Lim . Was introduced to my stylist Wakamatsu Yusuke san ,he was really polite, looked at and touch my hair, then he suggested whatstyle to cut, but he cant really speak English, so he draw out the picture for me, really interesting! Waka san then led me to the hair washing area, nice ,special chairs at the washing area, really wow! Hair wash was by him personally, gentle and relaxing, good massage, but it will be great if its longer, but hey i am here for a haircut right not a head massage. After which he proceed to cut my hair, waka san was really tactful, gentle in handling my hair, he change the parting of my hair too, and it turns out really well. Now i know why people on the Internet say that, they really can cut and style your hair to suit your face, because today waka san did it! Overall was a good and worth the price experience. The only part uncomfortable is the awkward moment when i walk in, maybe its my first time in a jap saloon and having my hair cut by a jap stylist! I am in awe , and i will be back to do my hair again.. thinking to change my hair colour soon..

On my hunt for a hair salon, I’ve found Kizuki + LIM at Raffles Hotel, Level 3. I was really excited after seeing all the good reviews. Booked an appointment with Akiyo-san, most junior stylist there and cheapest. Hahaha. Ok, I’m a cheapo. Oh, it’s really hard to get an appointment there, they are fully booked almost everyday! Very arty-farty interior design but not very friendly because I nearly fell down while walking back from the hairwash corner. >.<

I didn’t know what I wanted to do to my hair, so my hairstylist gave me a Japanese magazine that had all the Jap lookin hairstyles and asked me which one I liked. I picked one and she said, Ok! Wow. Haha, it was like picking a dish off a menu. I never had that at any other hair salons. The hairwash was.. Heavenly. I love it! Worth every penny because Akiyo san was there throughout the process. So she cut, washed, blow-dried, dyed, washed, permed, washed and blow-dried for me every step of the way. Unlike many other salons who have assistants to do the colouring, the washing, the blow-drying, everything else but the cutting.

So I really love the 100% attention that the stylist gives to you at Kizuki+LIM.

I’ll be back soon for a hair treatment again!

So I was at Kizuki + LIm at Raffles Hotel. it’s one of those salon which promises 100% satisfaction (in my opinion). Since Japanese are best known for delivering high-quality end-product, I wasn’t at all worried about the outcome. Prices, are steep but I would say it is worth every single cent. They are so precise and every detail is taken care of. Such perfectionists! I’ve got the best hair wash experience EVER by Tomoko, I love my hair =D Will definitely go there again!

One of the military wives introduced me to this salon and I’m so glad she did. She doesn’t seem to have any bad hair days at all. And so I decided to give it a try.

Well, it has really been a long while since I pay visits to a higher end salons. All these years, it has been more of neighborhood salon. Finally, I moved out of my comfort zone when the Aunty salon actually closed down due to lease expired.

The hubby decided to pamper himself and get a haircut too. And both of us were very satisfied with the outcome. Keira was rather well behaved. She was actually entertaining those in the salon while waiting for us.

We will definitely be back after we return 2 years later.

I went hawking for a good salon recommendation and HL came to the rescue with a very very good recommendation of a Japanese hair salon at Raffles Hotel. It’s Kizuki+Lim and it’s the Singaporean branch of a growing Japanese company Less is More. The deco alone has won me over and the moment I walked in, I’ve decided to “marry” this salon (your relationship with your hair stylist is really like marriage, if it’s good, you stick to him, if not, you divorce him and find another one). It’s not like the usual dowdy and boring dark and dank hair salon getup. It’s bright and artsy and it felt like I’ve walked into a modern art gallery. The cut is pretty good and Oba didn’t overdo the layer and it’s just nice. I’m pretty happy except that I still feel that it’s a tad too long for my liking and would prefer to chop off say another inch or 2. Ha, but it’s okay cos now I have an excuse to go back there sooner. The next time, I’ll probably do some color job as well. Oh but the only grumble I have is that the hairwash wasn’t as long as I hoped it would be, but then again, my hair was way too long for a proper long hairwash, so hopefully the next time I go back, it’ll be longer! Their pricing is very reasonable. I love Kizuki+Lim and I can’t wait to go back!!
