Went for a quick wash and blow dry and specifically requested for Covo’s senior hair stylist, Asako, because she’s amazing (not to mention pretty). Natasha went to Covo two weeks ago to try out Ombre hair and loved the result! She did it with such care and precision, not to mention the service quality in Covo is amazing. You don’t often get quality and great service at the same time, but Natasha’s experience at Covo was a really great one. And voila! Awesome hair!!

I absolutely love how they have these homely partitions that divide every seat in the salon. The entire place gives you a really chill vibe, especially when you get to sip a cuppa green tea while getting your hair done.
You do need to have an awesome hair stylist to make sure you get the effect you wanted. I know of some who came out of the salon with burnt or disastrous hair. The whole rolling-your-hair-into-10-cylinders needs skill, trust me. And I have no doubt that Asako did a fantastic job on that! Of course, a perfect (hair)xperience is not complete with having a enjoyable conversation with your hairstylist, and despite us coming from different countries, I had such a great time talking to her! She was so warm, gentle, cute and bubbly – I think we could be BFFS!

I haven’t been to a Japanese hair salon before, but I have heard alot about how good they are. Yet I’m still surprised at how different the service is, warm greetings once I entered the place and was immediately ushered to a seat for me to wait for my assigned stylist.

My stylist was Yoshi-san, a friendly Japanese hair stylist who have been in this line for 10 years. He was upfront with the condition of my hair and how it wasn’t suitable for colouring but still tried his best to accommodate my requests of getting a hair colour. I’m loving the end result, would definitely recommend this awesome hair salon to everyone I know!

I was visiting singapore for a few days and wanted to get my hair colored. I searching and searching and finally settled for this salon as it was like 10 mins away from where I was and the review on yelp was good.

The place was small nothing Big but very comfortable and i like the little private space each client has. The staff very welcoming and friendly , this is a japanese saloon my hairdresser was Yuya such a sweet and lovely guy he didnt speak much english but the receptionist helped us in translating he recommended few colors and i decided to throw caution to the wind and told him I’ll leave everything to him and let him choose the color he took care of me and my hair.

Long story short i loved the experience they take care of you. You will feel relaxed. I went in with a specific color in mind but walked out with a different one and have no complaints I LOVE IT ! Highly recommend this place and the price is very affordable .

I was very honoured to be invited to “Hair Salon COVO” for a hair treatment and perming session with them. Before we start, my stylist, Ryu, noticed the bad frizz on some parts of my hair and was worried perming might made it worse.. so he cut a strand off and started doing a test perm on it first. Call me suaku.. but I’ve never been to a salon that does this before. Fortunately, results were good and my hair was still able to take the perm!

After about 30 – 45 mins, time to see the results! Ryu gave my scalp a good massage and together with their hot mist treatment, it’s just the kinda remedy I need after a long hard week.. soothing and calming :) Don’t be surprised, Ryu does all the work himself, from cutting, to putting on the chemicals, washing, massaging your shoulders and blow drying, everything is done by the very attentive stylist.

SUPER SATISFIEDDDD! Love the curl in effect and how soft my hair felt after the treatment!

When I had the chance to have a hair makeover with COVO, I was literally jumping for joy!! Anyway, you can’t miss this beautiful shop front of COVO. Both the salon’s exterior and interior are designed to be minimalistic. In fact, this private seating area caught my attention when I first stepped into the salon. This made me feel more at ease. So I really appreciate that COVO designed such a seating concept for customers like me who wants exclusivity. I love how my new mane can reflect different color under different lightings. Absolutely adore how the subtle highlights bring out the vibrancy of the entire hair look. As close as it can get to Balayage hair effect for commoners like me. (: I would really urge you guys to give COVO a shot! This is all the more worth it for ladies with longer hair length, because COVO does not charge additional fees.

There is so much good reviews on Japanese hair stylists and COVO that this might be the hair salon I have been looking for. I liked how upfront my hairstylist was and tried his best to accommodate my requests while taking my hair condition into consideration. I enjoyed the hair treatment! Unlike most hair salons, the hair treatment was done after the hair wash and while you’re still lying down. So much more comfortable than sitting and you can take a short nap too :p Ended off the session with some curls, so doll-like :) Love my new hair now! I would love to go back there for more hair pampering in the future :))

The Japanese have great attention to detail when it comes to the manufacturing of their cars, crafting a cocktail, and cutting hair. Therefore, I was intrigued by the review of Covo by Ute L., and I stopped by for my first haircut in Singapore. After moving to 5 different cities in the past decade, I can tell you that finding a hair stylist in a new town can be traumatic. Fortunately, my hair grows very quickly and even a bad cut is temporary. But with Covo, my first trip was impressive and I’ve already found my salon in Singapore. The shampoo is truly amazing. I’ve never had a shampoo with carbonated spring water, but they make an interesting case on how it effectively removes oil or sebum from your scalp. My stylist was also Ryu (or Marco) and communicating with him was a breeze and end result was exactly what I had in mind – actually even better. He also offered solid advice on products and how to style my hair in the heat and humidity. Price for a men’s cut was $90, which is similar to my stylist in Seattle and much cheaper than my stylist in SF. Although Covo primarily has Japanese customers, I would definitely recommend the salon for anyone looking for a detailed cut. It’s not as luxurious or posh as some of the other high end salons, but I love the small boutique feel of the place and attention to detail.

I’m really happy and blessed to be able to try their services:)My hair stylish of the day suggested that I do a hair treatment and trim instead as my hair is too dry and perming it would damage it even further. During the wash, we did the hot steam treatment at the same time. I admit, it was hot but comfortable and super therapeutic! And since I didn’t get to do my permanent perm, we did some temporary curls just to make me happy! Little by little, I could see the curls forming nicely and I felt like a princess getting ready for her ball. Girls, fixing your hair really makes a big difference! I’m loving the length of it, it’s so easy to maintain and yes it definitely dries quicker nowadays. Most importantly, my locks are now softer than before. I’m so happy and contented with my hair conditions now. They’re really friendly people, so I’m wishing that you’ll enjoy your hair sessions there!

OMG!! Yes! I just had my hair ends “dipped dyed” in “turquoise” at Salon COVO. Thanks to stylist Marco! at COVO you get your own private space and that immediately makes you feel like a VIP. Most of the hair salons in Singapore use normal tap water to wash and shampoo our hair. Do you know that at Covo, they use “Tansan” water – aka “carbonated spring water” – to wash our hair? So what’s the difference? Covo’s Tansan water helps to remove the extra oil or sebum that accumulates on the scalp, thus making your hair healthier. You should consider COVO because it does not charge extra for long hair like other salons do.

Japanese concept hair salon with products from Japan. Beautiful clean salon with friendly, young and trendy staff. You guessed it, they are also from Japan. They’ve only been open for a couple of years but were well visited. Start your hour of relaxation with a nice shampoo in their reclining chairs. These are the most comfortable shampoo chairs I’ve ever sat in, you actually lie down so your neck isn’t in that awkward bent back position.

My stylist Marco was phenomenal, even threw in a neck & shoulder massage after my shampoo. I have a short hairstyle that’s not easy to style (growing out a faux hawk) and Marco did a great job making it look like an actual hairstyle.

Happened to be right next to my hotel, the Naumi Liora. Highly recommend this place.
Shampoo and blow out came to S$28 since they were running a new client special.

I’ve heard only good things about COVO so far which is why I was pleasantly excited when I had a chance to do my lashes with them. I liked the private seating areas which gave me my own personal space, something I feel is lacking in most aesthetic parlors especially here in Singapore. Most of the time, beauty parlors are filled to the brim with customers crammed side by side lying on an ugly black chair, while their therapists rush and move from one client to another. Erps. The amount of colours they offer here at COVO are crazy!!! They have all colours of the rainbow which allows you customise it however crazy or outstanding you want your lashes to be. Loving my lashes a hell lot now. I am sold to eyelash extensions. Seriously. I cannot do without them anymore I think.. Hahaha.

It is my virgin experience for eyelash extension with COVO Singapore. At first i thought eyelash extension is quite a painful procedure I have no idea why i think that way but they prove me wrong. Throughout the whole process was very relaxing and the environment is very cozy. I actually fell asleep while Jeane is doing the extension for me. Oh yea! Jeane is a beautician who is highly qualified as the first-rate beautician of Japan Eyelist Association. I feel safe after i read their profile of each stylish and the detail of their service . Now i can have long Glamorous Lashes & it looks S.U.P.E.R N.A.T.U.R.A.L
I’m please with the result !!! and i know i’m so gonna continue to touch up my eyelash extension till i die lol #imserious Btw, my lashes last for 6 weeks which I am very surprised about it because most of my friend did it & they told me their lashes only can last for 3 weeks. I really love what Jeane did on my eyes and Covo’s excellent service ;))

I was literally jumping for joy to be able to step into a salon that so many other bloggers have raved about! I’ve been wanting to do eyelash extensions for the longest time now but didn’t because of really awful stories I’ve heard from people who have done them. I was very glad Covo Singapore offered me a sponsored session of eyelash extension! First thing why I accepted the offer was because, Jeane who did the eyelash extensions for me was trained in Japan! And Japan is super famous for doing awesome jobs of eyelash extensions
It’s been about a week or so and none of them have dropped so far. I’m quite rough sometimes when I wash my face or remove make up =X but it has all been good for me!

Like many other Asian females, I am born with relatively short and sparse lashes. In order to achieve sparkly and fluttery eyes, I need to curl my lashes and apply layers and layers of mascara which is extremely time consuming, especially during the morning rush hours. My saviour to this woes is, JEANE from COVO. It has been slightly more than a week since I did my lashes and although some are falling off, but most of them are still standing strong. What I love about lash extensions is that are already curled so you don’t have to curl them or put on any mascara. It literally saves me all the time from having to do any eye makeup. Well, you still can put on eye makeup if you want, but why bother to waste your time when you can have instant gorgeous eyes ?! Can’t wait for my next visit to COVO for my touchup.

To date, I’ve been there twice and I’m equipped to write this post from the bottom of my heart. I was able to choose the style of lashes I wanted! The eyelashes are put on one by one which means they can be designed finely according to what we want. Every single detail – From its curvature, thickness, length and even colour. Indeed, after the session, I felt like I’ve been living in a rock all these while, or probably cheated for the past year. Besides the professional work done, I must comment on the fact that I really trust their services. To be exact, my lashes lasted for about 3 weeks to a month before I made my second visit to COVO last weekend. What I love about my lash extensions is that they have curls already so you don’t have to put on mascara or anything else. Well, I mean if you want, you still could! Oh and the best part? It’s water proof!
Really can’t wait to go continue trying different styles and lengths the next time round to see which one I eventually prefer.

I rarely patronise other salons besides the one close to my place as I have always been extremely particular regarding how my hair would be fixed by another party. However, I decided I should give it a shot and mustering all my courage, I went to Covo Hair Salon. I could voice out my likes, dislikes and expectations, and they would graciously and humbly respect my opinions and provide more suggestions. They would also not hesitate to speak their mind if one of the colors I had chosen would not look flattering on me- and in turn, I too graciously accepted their words from both professionalism and experience. One more thing I just have to share with you about Covo is that they DO NOT charge any extra fees at all for services such as price based on your hair length or the appointing of specific stylists. So if you have long hair, you do not have to be afraid of any extra charges! Rapunzel could even get her hair cut in Covo for the same price as any other length if she wants. ISNT THAT AWESOME?

The COVO stylists are all qualified hairstylist from Japan, whom have had work experience in Tokyo. You can definitely be sure it will be a very pleasant experience! Unlike most salons, the hair treatment is done right after you get your hair washed! So instead of having to sit in your chair uncomfortably for 20 minutes, you get to lie down and take a much deserved nap while waiting for the treatment to get done. I’m sure I don’t look like one of the models in there, but I’m really very happy with my hair! Covo has a full team of qualified Japanese hair stylists who used to work in Tokyo, so I was extremely excited for them to work their magic on my hair! Language isn’t really a barrier in COVO even though everyone who works at COVO are Japanese. And it’s as though my stylists know exactly what I want and what works for me even though I didn’t spell it out for them explicitly. And in case you’re wondering, my hair is still in an awesome state a week after I went to COVO!I also took 2 flights within that week, mind you.
